As a busy office or facility manager you need a reliable, detail-oriented commercial cleaning company you can count on; one who works hard to make your life easier so you can stay focused. The Business Cleaning Solutions cleaning system was designed to get your workplace up to an exceptional level of cleanliness- and keep it there. From dirty to deep clean, here is how our proactive, pain-free commercial cleaning services protect your most valuable asset: time.
The Deep Clean
If you’re looking to hire a new commercial cleaning service, there’s a reason: your workplace cleanliness isn’t where it needs to be. Either your staff struggled to keep it clean, or your cleaning vendor short-changed you with poor quality service. You work hard; you deserve a clean business you can be proud of. To get you there, our process begins with a Deep Clean service. Think of this as a restorative clean to remove the buildup of dirt, dust, and debris that’s been accumulating. Our crew rolls up their sleeves and puts in extra effort to get things turned around. More manpower goes into cleaning the corners, not cutting them. Management is on site during the Deep Clean to ensure that our high standards of cleanliness are being met. The ultimate goal: to do what it takes to get your business looking good again.
A Deep Clean is an investment in your workplace. It helps to establish a new benchmark of clean. Since extra labor and materials are involved, this is quoted as a separate cost from routine janitorial. For some neglected facilities the Deep Clean can be paired with Special Cleaning Services such as carpet cleaning, floor work, window cleaning, or pressure washing. We can quote these services a la carte and at the right price.

Routine Cleaning Scope of Work
After the Deep Clean has your facility looking it’s best, the Routine Cleaning begins. Regular Cleaning, or Routine Cleaning follows the Scope of Work as described in your service contract. The Scope of Work defines the areas to be cleaned and lists the cleaning tasks to be performed.
In order to create the Scope of Work, our Service Consultants do a site walk with you prior to starting service. Since no two facilities are the same, neither are the cleaning needs. Sanitation requirements can also vary depending upon the industry. For instance, the cleaning needs of a law office are much different than those of a medical facility. We survey which areas are to receive cleaning services, and which ones are to be left out. We note things like the cleanable square footage, the number of kitchens and bathrooms, and other keys pieces of information.
During the site walk, our Service Consultants can also discuss your facility’s cleaning challenges with you. All of this data allows us to create a Scope of Work that is customized to meet your exact needs.
Insight into Routine Cleaning
Think about your business for a moment. Are there multiple offices, kitchens and bathrooms? Ever wonder how do they do it? The mere thought of cleaning it might be dizzying. Our professional cleaning crews are trained to systematically clean where needed, as needed. Meaning if it’s dirty, we clean it. In certain areas we clean surfaces every time, no matter what the crew members might see or smell.
Take vacuuming for instance.  Not every square inch of carpet is vacuumed every service.  That would take a really, really long time.  Instead, high-traffic areas are addressed every service, such as the lobby and main hallways.  In contrast, quieter spaces that receive less daily traffic such as private offices are vacuumed on an as needed basis.  Did someone accidentally hip-check a prized potted orchid off their desk?  We would vacuum that office right away.Â
Common areas and shared facilities such as lobbies, kitchens and bathrooms receive more cleaning time and attention. They naturally have more routine tasks that are completed every service. Examples can include the cleaning of countertops, sinks, toilets, wet mopping of the floors, and much more.
Detail Day Cleaning Schedule
This leads us to the Detail Day Cleaning Schedule, which is where certain tasks within the Scope of Work are divvied up and assigned to specific days, weeks, or even months. It allows our cleaning crew to focus and put more attention on certain work areas or personal spaces. It’s also a coordination tool, that gives more transparency to you as the customer. As contracts and frequencies of service can vary, so do the various Detail Day options. These schedules allow us to systematically plan ahead; following a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and even yearly schedule.
For example, the dusting of window sills and blinds might be performed once a week. While the high dusting of ceiling air vents might be a monthly task. A parking lot trash enclosure might be pressure washed once each quarter, while your windows might receive a squeegee cleaning on an annual basis.

Overall, Detail Day scheduling enables us to better meet your needs.  With a little coordination, the cleaning can be much more thorough.  As an example, consider desk cleaning.  It’s industry-standard practice that the crew will not re-arrange or disturb your workspace. Therefore, it’s tough to clean a desk that’s cluttered with paperwork. However, there is a solution: coordinating a Detail Day for the cleaning of desks.   On the assigned day, before going home your employees can voluntarily clear away their personal items.  With more desk space opened up, our cleaners can access that much more.  Goodbye dust bunnies and coffee rings!
We hope this helps you better understand what to expect when hiring Business Cleaning Solutions as your new commercial cleaning vendor. Cleaning a large facility might seem like an overwhelming challenge to the untrained eye. However, a reputable cleaning company will always have properly trained professional that follow a system.  As you managers out there know all-too-well, sticking to a well-defined system usually means better efficiency…and cleaner workplaces for our customers.  As always, at BCS we’re at your service! Questions?
